The short version
Codecide does not collect, store, or sell personal data. Most of our tools run entirely in your browser — no data leaves your machine. When you use our APIs, requests are processed statelessly and not logged.
What we collect
We do not collect:
- Names, email addresses, or account information
- IP addresses or device fingerprints
- Usage analytics or behavioral tracking
- Cookies (beyond what your browser sets by default for session storage)
Browser storage
Some apps use localStorage or IndexedDB to save your work between sessions — for example, workspace tabs or session history. This data lives entirely in your browser and is never transmitted to our servers. You can clear it at any time through your browser's storage settings.
Contact form
If you use the contact form, we receive your name, email address, and message. This information is used solely to respond to your inquiry and is not shared with third parties.
API and MCP usage
Our public APIs accept input data, process it, and return results. We do not log request content. Standard web server access logs (IP, timestamp, path) may be retained for up to 30 days for security and infrastructure purposes.
Third-party services
We use the following third-party infrastructure:
- Media hosting — static assets (screenshots, images) are served from media.codecide.net
- Email delivery — contact form submissions are sent via a self-hosted Resend proxy
No third-party analytics, advertising networks, or data brokers are used.
Changes to this policy
If this policy changes materially, we will update the date at the top of this page. Continued use of the site after any update constitutes acceptance of the new policy.
