Terms of Use

Last updated: 2026-07-05

Acceptance

By using any Codecide web application, API, or MCP server, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the service.

Free use

Codecide tools are provided free of charge for personal, commercial, and educational use. They are not intended for government or military use: such use is prohibited. You may integrate our public APIs and MCP servers into your own products without a license fee, subject to the fair-use limits below.

Fair use and rate limits

Our APIs are shared infrastructure. We ask that you use them responsibly:

MIT-licensed apps

Most Codecide apps are released under the MIT license. The license governs your right to use, integrate, and build on the software. Source code is not publicly distributed unless explicitly stated on the app's page. Where source code is made available, you may use, modify, and redistribute it under the terms of the MIT license.

Proprietary apps

Some apps are released under a proprietary license. You may use the web interface and public API freely, but you may not copy, redistribute, or reverse-engineer the application code. Contact us for commercial licensing.

Disclaimer

All tools, calculators, and technical content published on codecide.net are provided for informational, educational, and estimation purposes only. They are not a substitute for professional engineering judgment, design review, or certification by a qualified professional in your jurisdiction.

Results may depend on assumptions, simplifications, rounding methods, unit conversions, floating-point arithmetic, browser behavior, and user inputs that we cannot verify. We make no warranty — express or implied — regarding the accuracy, completeness, reliability, currency, or fitness for any particular purpose of any tool or its output.

You are solely responsible for reviewing and validating any result before applying it to a design, decision, installation, operation, or other real-world use. For safety-critical, code-compliant, or professionally certified work, always consult a qualified engineer or licensed professional and verify outputs against the applicable standards and local regulations in your jurisdiction.

By using any Codecide tool, you acknowledge these limitations and agree that you will not rely solely on calculator outputs for critical decisions without independent verification.

No warranty

Codecide tools are provided "as is," without warranty of any kind. We make no guarantees about uptime, accuracy of results, or fitness for any particular purpose. Use at your own risk.

Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, Codecide shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the service.

Changes

We may update these terms from time to time. The updated date at the top of this page reflects the most recent revision. Continued use of the service constitutes acceptance.
